Please remember, as we honor and commemorate our military personnel this Memorial Day weekend, to exercise these essential safety precautions while grilling during the weekend, and recall these critical grilling reminders not just this weekend but throughout the entire grilling season.

This is an excellent event for children hosted by our neighboring department. If you have a child within the specified age range, please consider enrolling them, as they will acquire valuable knowledge and have a fun learning experience exploring various topics.

The deadline to register is quickly approaching. Please register by June 17th!

Come out and join the Vincennes Township Fire Department at Wabash Trails in Vincennes for two days of fun!
Information:
- Wabash Trails Park
- July 29th and 30th
- 8am to 4pm both days
- Ages 9-12
- $10 per child
- Lunch provided both days
- Child will receive a camp t-shirt
Camp includes but is not limited to:
- VTFD: fire safety, water safety, fire extinguishers, escape plans, CPR
- Knox County Central Dispatch: the importance of 911
- Good Samaritan Hospital: Stop the Bleed
- Good Samaritan EMS: Ambulance tour and information
- AirLife: Helicopter tour and information
- Indiana DNR: Safety Sam and ATV Safety
- Knox County Sheriff Department: K9 demonstration
- WIN Energy: Electrical Safety
We have bounce houses, water games, obstacle courses, and more to make learning about first responders and emergencies more fun!
