Join the Monett Police and Fire Departments for an evening of food, music, games, and a chance to meet the first responders who serve our community.

The Monett Area Chamber of Commerce, City of Monett, Monett Fire Department and Monett Police Department gathered at the Freedom Silo the morning of September 11, 2026 to honor those who lost their lives on September 11, 2001.

Members of the City Council may attend the Missouri Municipal League Annual Conference from 3:30p.m. on Sunday, September 13th, 2026, to 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, September 16th, 2026. The event will be held at the Margaritaville Lake Resort in Osage Beach, Missouri.

Tomorrow, Friday, September 11, the Monett Early Childhood Center will hold a special 9/11 Parade to honor and thank local first responders and emergency personnel who serve our community.

Please note that emergency vehicles will be present at or near MECC during this planned event.

We are grateful for the opportunity to help our youngest Cubs learn about service, sacrifice, gratitude, and community.
