Monett Professional Firefighters Local 2001 The Monett Fire Department has been serving the citizens of Monett since 1906, whereby our mission is to protect them from loss of life and property.

The Monett Fire Department has been serving the citizens of the City of Monett, Missouri since 1906. The Monett Fire Department is a combination department the consist of 16 fulltime employees and 9 volunteers that provides its services 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The department has been classified as an ISO 4 fire department. The Monett Fire Department will respond to all fires, technical re

scues, hazardous materials incidents, and emergency medical calls within the city limits of Monett, along with responding to automatic aid and mutual aid calls to assist surrounding fire departments. The Monett Fire Department operates out of two stations within the city limits. Station #1 is located in the historic downtown area at 211 5th St. and Station #2 is located in the industrial area at 904 County Rd.

Today we celebrate all fathers—especially those who answer the call to serve their communities while also being role models, mentors, and heroes at home.

To the dads who work long hours, miss holidays, coach ball games, attend school events, and still find time to be there for their families, thank you. Your dedication, sacrifice, and love do not go unnoticed.

Whether you’re spending today with family, remembering a father who impacted your life, or serving your community on shift, we honor you and all that you do.

Monett Professional Firefighters Local 2001 would like to extend our sincere gratitude to the City of Monett for the recent purchase of new battery-powered TNT extrication equipment. This investment provides our firefighters with cutting-edge tools that will enhance our ability to safely and efficiently serve our community during vehicle rescue incidents.

Over the past couple of weeks, each shift has had the opportunity to train with the new equipment, becoming familiar with its capabilities and ensuring we are prepared when the call comes.

We would also like to give a special thank you to Thomas Towing for supplying vehicles for our hands-on training. Partnerships like these allow us to sharpen our skills and provide the highest level of service to the citizens of Monett.

Continuous training, modern equipment, and strong community support help make Monett a safer place for everyone.

Yesterday, members of A Shift had the honor of flying the flag during the Flight Day Ceremony hosted by the City of Monett.

It is a privilege to take part in events that bring our community together to remember, reflect, and show appreciation for the values our flag represents. Thank you to the City of Monett for allowing us to participate in this meaningful ceremony.

We are proud to serve this community both on and off duty.
