We want to give a HUGE thank you to everyone that made it out or supported Terry and Amy this past Saturday! We know the rain put a damper on things, but we still had plenty of people show up to support them and have a great time.

- We want to thank the AMGC for putting on the pancake breakfast!
- Thank you to VFW post 4207 for supplying the venue and working with us these past few weeks!
- Thank you to those who traveled hours to be there for them!
- Thank you to ALL of the local businesses that donated items to the cause!
- A big thank you to Mrs. Becky Gilliam for dedicating weeks and hours to pulling items and people together!
- And last but not least, thank you to Alisha Stewart for having the idea to do this in the first place, and executing it flawlessly and effectively 💜

None of it would have been possible without these people/groups, and for that we are grateful 😊

Update: we are not doing a ride today due to the weather.

We are doing a poker “walk” at the VFW indoors

we are still having the silent auction, and gun/pig/misc raffles.

We are also still having chili! Come out and see us at the VFW in monett, MO!

Good morning! A quick update for you all…

Due to the incoming weather, the poker run itself is still up in the air. We will be having it for those who do still want to ride, as long as it is safe!!

For those that want to stay dry and still support the cause, we will also be doing a poker walk!!! This will involve drawing cards INDOORS. Those who participate in either poker event will be eligible for the high/low hand prizes.

Head on out, enjoy some pancakes and chili, and win some cool prizes!

As of right now, there is rain in the forecast for Saturday morning.

We are still planning on having the ride if it rains. But if the weather is severe, we will play it by ear. Watch this page for updates, as safety is our primary goal.

If you’re not up for riding in the rain… everyone is still invited to eat some pancakes, take part in the raffles, and eat some chili! (Don’t forget about the pig, gun, grill, and tons of cool items that will be available 😊)

Come out and support the cause! See you all this Saturday (October 23rd)!!

Happy Wednesday! We’re halfway through the week 😁

I don’t know about you, but we are SUPER excited for this Saturday! We’ve been getting lots of questions about what sorts of items will be available, so we’ve decided to list a few 😉

There will be:
- a handmade co****le set
- two handmade quilts
- a large black stone griddle (trust us, it’s heavy)
- the gun for the raffle
- a helmet and other motorcycle accessories
- tools
- TONS of local business and restaurant certificates
- a 50/50 drawing
- bullets and gun supplies
- baskets of goodies
- apparel
- leather vest
- the raffle for the butcher pig
And So. Much. More!

(All items will either be raffled or silent auctioned!)

Good morning!

To those who may not be as familiar with the area, the location is the VFW just outside (West) of Monett on Highway 60.

You can look for the tank at the west entrance, or our purple benefit banner at the end of the east driveway!

A little about the family...

Terry:
- was active in the military (US Army/US-ROK Ranger 1973-1975 4th Squad leader- 2nd Platoon-Company B- 1st Battalion- 5th Infantry Regiment-25th Infantry Division, Honorably/Medically discharged)
- was active in the medical field for 37 years, he was a paramedic, instructor for EMS/fire/CPR
-worked for multiple local ambulance services in the area
-instructor for Cox Health Systems for 10 years
-was a state AND national level evaluator for EMT and paramedics
-a member of the Aurora Fire Dept from 2006 to present (currently inactive)
- lead instructor for the Lawrence County Sheriff's Academy

Amy:
- first responder for Barry County in the early '90s
- National Registry EMT Regional Coordinator from 1992 to present
- worked for Barry-Lawrence Ambulance District and Cox Health
-Evaluator for MEMSA (Missouri Emergency Medical Services Association)
- NIEMT (National Institute of Emergency Medical Training) Coordinator 2011-present, National Registry EMT & Paramedic testing
- Walters Chiropractic 2001-2021 Office work & patient care
- Aurora City Fire Department 2007-present
(currently inactive)
- Lawrence County Sheriff’s Academy, Missouri, Coordinator/Instructor, First Responder Training Sheriff’s Academy Cadets, Tactical Response Emergency Medical Training Sheriff’s Auxiliary

They have both been VERY active and busy in the area for decades, and now is the time for us to return the favor 💜

Happy Saturday!

Just a reminder that the raffles, auctions, meals, and Poker Run are in a week from today 😁

Registration for the ride and the pancake breakfast are from 7-9am!!! 🥞

Raffle drawings and chili lunch will occur after everyone returns.
