Easton is all finished with the poultry show! He was so nervous with it being his first year but he made it. He won reserve showmanship for 4-H, and novice showmanship for the junior poultry show.

Boy I'm just so happy with how each of these animals has been this week.

Andy.... big wins for him inside the ring and out. His very first time going anywhere and he has been so good, and he won everything he tried!

Poppy.... Easton hasn't had time to do anything with her at all this summer, but he loves her to death and wanted her at fair again this year. She impressed me. So much growth for her standing still in the arena.

Norman.... a couple years ago I wasn't even showing him under saddle and said id never bring him to the fair because he was green and naughty. The next year I showed him, but we didn't place in much. Last year he earned a couple ribbons on his stall, and was still very overstimulated by the fair scene. This year, he won classes with BOTH easton and myself, cantered his first show in an English saddle, and was so brave with everything around him and also while Stewie was away in the arena.

And Stewie.... he's just an amazing little horse. Maddyx has worked her tail off with him. This year he had wins and placings in both the open and the junior. Maddyx had an amazing 4-H show day and she won English division champion, western division champion, speed division champion, and overall senior horse.

Onto the chicken show today, and Hendrix's small fry horse show on Sunday ❤️

While the horses and other large animals are ok, we did lose a handful of chickens to the storm 😞 one of which was one of Eastons show chickens. With the loss of this one and Betty, he is now down to 2.

If anyone has any polish or silkies for sale, please let me know. These kids can't catch a break.
