If you've never seen our small playground space that was once used for pre-k, you might not know it, but this dirt space was once COVERED in grass and weeds.

Our awesome PTA President, Katie Beasley and our always dedicated volunteer and former secretary, Cristiane Bond put in some serious sweat equity yesterday and planted this wonderful garden space for the school.

Soon, classes can have lessons here learning how to care for the plants and the children can learn the joy of growing something for themselves.

It doesn't look like much now, but it will. And we are so proud to be able to help provide this new venture for the teachers and students.

ATTENTION ALL:
We are one of the few schools in Chatham County that still has a Chatham PTA Thrift donation bin on our grounds. Very amazing and kind people take the time to empty this bin and bring the goods to the thrift store weekly for us.

Please please PLEASE be mindful and respectful when placing your unwanted items in the donation bin. Same as if you were donating directly to the Thrift Store, your items should be bagged or in boxes and neatly placed in the donation bin.

If the donation bin looks like your teenager's bedroom, these wonderful volunteers might stop helping and they earn us 15ish hours a month toward volunteer hours.
