Department of Health and Human Services, the Beaver County Head Start program is part of the Private Industry Council's Early Childhood Development Division, which serves low- and middle-income children and their families. The program serves children between the ages of 3 and 5 and promotes the educational, physical, cognitive, and emotional growth of children while supporting parents in their rol

It's true...

The Summer Sustainability Institute introduces students to sustainable initiatives in Beaver County.

But there's more to it than that...

Students who participate in our six-week summer program (that meets twice a week) learn about leadership, teamwork, and how we are all connected and affected by our actions and inaction. If your student is a critical thinker who is ready to not just ask the important questions but to seek out real answers, be sure to register them for SSI!

The program is open to Beaver County high school students — and that includes those who just completed 8th grade and 2026 high school graduates.
