Moline Housing Authority - MHA Moline Housing Authority (MHA) is a public housing authority in Moline, Illinois MHA was created in 1940 to assist low-income residents.

In 1941 the first residents began moving into the 184 units located at Spring Brook Courts. They consisted of a mix of low-income individuals and military personnel and their families. In 1971 MHA could build Spring Valley for housing elderly. As HUD loosened rules regarding elderly housing to include singles, MHA found that they could serve more individuals by also adding Hillside Heights in 1971

to their holdings. The three developments sit on a combined total of more than 40 acres of land. MHA currently serves a multi-ethnic population.

MHA residents! This Friday (June 12th) is the deadline to register for the Neighborhood Exchange! If you would like to reserve a table please call Erika (309-277-0285) or Leighann (309-581-5097). Residents will be responsible for bringing their items but are not required to monitor them throughout the day. Any items not picked up at the end of the day will be donated to other local agencies.

Last Wednesday, June 10, 2026, the Moline Housing Authority and its nonprofit affiliate, the Moline Housing Development Corporation, proudly celebrated the groundbreaking of Parkview Apartments, a new 22-unit affordable housing development in Moline.

Parkview Apartments represents Phase 2 of our Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH) initiative, building on the success of Spring Valley Village, our first PSH development, which is fully occupied and operating at 100% capacity. The overwhelming need for safe, stable, and affordable housing in our community inspired us to expand this successful program and create additional housing opportunities for individuals and families in need.

We are grateful to our partners, supporters, elected officials, and community members who joined us to mark this important milestone. Together, we are investing in housing solutions that strengthen our community and help create brighter futures for Moline residents.
