The City Commission has begun a series of budget workshops that started today.

In developing its “Elkridge Sustainable Community: Draft Action Plan," our Department of Planning and Zoning (DPZ) has worked closely with our Elkridge community stakeholders, residents, and agency partners to shape the plan. Now, with the draft plan complete, DPZ is asking community members to review the document (found online at www.howardcountymd.gov/planning-zoning/resource/elkridge-sustainability-action-plan) and share their thoughts, ideas, and suggestions on how DPZ can further refine the plan and prepare its Sustainable Community application for Howard County Council resolution and ultimately, for Maryland Department of Housing and Community Development consideration.

To submit your thoughts and feedback to DPZ, be sure to complete its “Elkridge Sustainable Community: Action Plan Document Comment Form” online at www.surveymonkey.com/r/elkridgescactionplan by no later than next Tuesday, June 16th (NOTE: the DEADLINE has been EXTENDED).
