Village of Mogadore

For the past several weeks, the Akron Water Department has been replacing the water lines to approximately 70 homes in the Village. To make these repairs, they have had to dig up various sidewalks in the Village and they have left stone and gravel in place of the concrete. We have been in touch with the Akron Water Department to inquiry when these sidewalks would be repaired and they indicated that each sidewalk would be restored within 30 days of when the work was completed on each individual water line. If your sidewalk was dug up by the contractor and it has been more than 30 days since they finished the work on your water line and they still have not repaired the sidewalk, please contact the Village at 330-628-4896 and we will relay that information to the Akron Water Department.

I want to give a huge Thank You to Bekki and Dave Peterhoff, Jamie and David Peterhoff, and Erin Runion for putting up the fall decorations around the downtown of the Village. They are not finished yet; however, I did not want to wait to give them the accolades that they deserve. Thanks again to Bekki and her family for the outstanding idea to have fun with the fall season.

Trick or Treat for the Village will be on Saturday, October 31st from 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm.

2026 Fall Limb and Branch Pickup will be from Monday, October 5th to Friday, October 9th. Please do NOT place your limbs/branches on the curb until after Wednesday, September 30th. We ask that all limbs/branches be placed on the curb and NOT in the street. The Service Department will NOT pick up limbs larger than 4 inches in diameter, no root bulbs, and no entire bushes.

TRASH PICKUP DELAY NOTICE.

Kimble Trash has notified the Village that approximately 700 residents will not have their trash picked up until tomorrow morning due to driver issues.
