On July 18, 2026 the Boys & Girls Clubs of Stanislaus County was presented with two $5,000 checks, supporting our efforts offering enrichment programs to kids throughout Stanislaus County. As part of the event, we gave away backpacks and each Club Kid received a $100 shopping spree through The Giving Machine.

From chopping vegetables to learning kitchen safety, our Club Kids rolled up their sleeves for a hands-on culinary experience at Summer Strong in West Modesto.

A huge thank you to the talented chefs and students from the Institute of Technology's Culinary Arts program for spending the day with our Club Kids. Together, they explored healthy ingredients, practiced real kitchen skills, and discovered that cooking can be creative, fun, and a lifelong skill.

Experiences like these help young people build confidence one recipe, one lesson, and one new skill at a time.

The spotlight was shining bright at Lakewood Elementary last week! 🌟

Club Kids participating in our Modesto City Schools summer program took the stage for a Talent Show in front of friends, family, and staff. From singing and dancing to showcasing unique talents, more than a dozen young performers stepped outside their comfort zones and shared their gifts with the community.

Events like these are about more than just performance—they help Club Kids build confidence, express themselves creatively, and discover what’s possible when they’re encouraged to shine.
