Reminder: Tomorrow, Wednesday, April 25 is a Minimum Day. Release times are: TK and K = 12:35, 1st - 3rd = 12:50, 4th - 6th = 1:15. Open House will be from 6pm - 7pm.

Our Jog-A-Thon, originally set for tomorrow, has been postponed due to the weather. We don't have a new date for it yet, but will send out an update as soon as we do.

Our lockdown is lifted; all students and staff are safe. Please listen to your voicemail as the principal has left an All Call message to address our lockdown today.

Our school is on a full lockdown at this time. All students and staff are safe and accounted for. We will update this when the lockdown is lifted. Our Principal will make an all-call shortly to update parents.

Our lockdown has been lifted. While there was no immediate threat to our students, we took this measure due to nearby activity for the safety of our students and staff. Again, our principal, Mrs. Hamera, will address this in an all-call this evening.

Due to police activity, not in the immediate area - but, in the surrounding area, we are currently on lockdown. There is no threat at this time to the school - this is a precautionary measure. Mrs. Hamera will send a phone announcement this evening to address this.

Our 6th graders were so honored to hear from a service-member after they'd sent him a thank you card! Here at Hughes, we think our 6th graders are amazing AND we are all grateful for the men and women who serve. What a fabulously heartwarming gift they got to know how that card was received.
