UPDATE!!- Due to scheduling conflicts, the storm siren installation will be rescheduled to a later date.

On Tuesday April 28th, the new storm siren is scheduled to be installed. The siren will likely be tested several times during this process.

Attention Property Owners, Landowners, and Farmers,

In light of the recent wildfires across Nebraska and the ongoing dry conditions throughout the Midwest, the Modale Fire Department would like to offer our assistance in planning and conducting controlled burns within our fire district.

Our department has coordinated, performed, and assisted with numerous controlled burns over the past several years. These operations provide valuable, real-world training for our members in areas such as planning, fire behavior, and the safe operation of vehicles and equipment.

While fire behavior can be unpredictable, having the proper personnel, tools, and equipment in place before a controlled burn begins greatly reduces the risk of it becoming uncontrolled. Preparation and coordination can make the difference between a successful burn and a dangerous situation.

We had an amazing turn out today for our Easter egg hunt!

We would also like to congratulate our raffle winners!
1st- Kristie Drewes chose the yeti cooler
2nd- Mike Stanfill choosing the 55 inch smart tv
And last but not least Kristy Pitts winning the Pit Boss table top pellet grill.
