Carter has been delivering Meals on Wheels for 15 years.

Carter is an outstanding example of what it means to be a volunteer. He goes far beyond delivering meals multiple times each week. For Carter, Meals on Wheels is about more than simply dropping off a meal—it is about connecting with people, checking on their well-being, and helping others in his community.

Many of the individuals on his route are people he has known throughout his life, including former coworkers, friends, and extended family members. Carter values the opportunity to visit with them, offer a friendly smile, and provide a sense of connection. His dedication, compassion, and commitment to serving others make a meaningful difference in the lives of those he serves.
