Today we celebrate an incredible educator, mentor, and friend — Ms. Pope — as she begins her well-earned retirement from MCPSS! 🎉🍎

Since joining our school in 2001, Ms. Pope has made a lasting impact on generations of students and families. She spent 13 wonderful years teaching 5th grade before moving to 4th grade, where she has continued to inspire and encourage students ever since.

Ms. Pope is known for so many special things that made her classroom unforgettable — teaching students how to play chess, planning memorable field trips to Montgomery, bringing learning to life through exciting science experiments, and sharing her love for antiques and history with those around her.

Her dedication, creativity, and care for students have left a legacy that will continue for years to come. Thank you, Ms. Pope, for the countless lives you have touched and the love you poured into our school community.

We wish you all the happiness, relaxation, and adventures retirement has to offer! ❤️🐝💙

This morning we celebrated our amazing 5th graders during their Honors Celebration! We loved recognizing all of their hard work, accomplishments, and successes as they close out their elementary school journey. We are so proud of this special group of students and can’t wait to see all they accomplish in the years ahead!

What an incredible day of celebration at our school! 🎉

From our adorable annual Kindergarten Fashion Show to our 1st–4th Grade Honors Assemblies, today was filled with smiles, confidence, accomplishments, and so much school pride! 🐝✨

We love taking the time to celebrate ALL of our students and the hard work, growth, and dedication they’ve shown throughout the year. Watching our students shine both in and out of the classroom is what makes days like today so special. 🌟

What a great day for our annual 5th Grade Students vs. Parents Kickball Game! The weather could not have been more beautiful, and our students gave it their absolute best shot trying to take down the parents. In the end, the parents managed to pull out another victory…maybe next year, 5th grade! ☀️⚽️

A huge thank you to St. Paul's Episcopal School for allowing us to use their field. We are so grateful for such a wonderful neighbor school and community partner. Days like today are what make these memories so special! ❤️🐝💙

A big shoutout to our amazing students who recently had the opportunity to take part in our Teacher of the Day experience! 🍎✨ From leading activities to helping classmates throughout the day, they truly stepped into the role and had a blast doing it!

This special experience is part of our PTA’s Art From the Heart fundraiser, which helps support art instruction and creative opportunities for all of our students. 🎨❤️
