Judges said the GOP-backed 2023 plan was tainted by intentional race discrimination and would dilute Black voters’ power.

🚨 BREAKING: A federal three-judge panel just ruled that Alabama's 2026 congressional elections cannot be held under the 2023 legislatively enacted map, which the court previously found unconstitutional.

The 2026 elections will proceed under the court-ordered Special Master Plan, the same map used in 2024.

This is a major win for fair representation in Alabama, including right here on the Gulf Coast.
