Matt Tate, Mobile District Realty Specialist, is one of those who has embraced this "Swiss Army Knife" mentality. Tate, who retired from the Alabama Army National Guard in 2022, joined USACE in 2023 and has been with the Mobile District since November 2025.

Steven Daniels, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Mobile District Chief of the Tyndall Integration Office, recently retired from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Headquarters after over 26 years of service to USACE.

Daniels spent the last six years of his career in charge of the Tyndall Air Force Base rebuild project, after the base was almost completely destroyed by Hurricane Michael in 2018.

His career, including the legacy he leaves behind leading one of the largest rebuild projects in U.S. Department of War history, will be remembered. Essayons!
