We had a great meeting last night with President Jo Bonner! He spoke with us about his work as Congressman, his work at The University of Alabama, and his work as Chief of Staff for Governor Kay Ivey. He also talked about the growth and success of South! We thank President Bonner for taking the time to come speak to us!

Today 4 of our chapter members attended the convention in Tuscaloosa at the University of Alabama. While there they heard from keynote speaker Rick Dearborn, who was President Trump’s Deputy Chief of Staff. They also heard speeches from US Senate candidates Katie Britt and Mo Brooks, former ALGOP Chairman Terry Lathan, Secretary of State John Merrill, Alabama Supreme Court candidate Greg Cook, and got to mingle with other candidates from around the state including candidates for Secretary of State Rep. Wes Allen and State Auditor Jim Ziegler.

Additionally, we would like to congratulate our chairman and Communications Director. Jared was elected to be CRFA Treasurer for the 2022-2023 term and Gracie was elected to be the CRFA’s Southern Regional Chair for the 2022-2023 term!

We would also like to congratulate .mayer9 for being elected to serve as the next Chairman and who was elected to serve as the next Deputy Chairwoman of the

Tonight, two of our members attended the Baldwin County Republican Party’s Back the Blue dinner with keynote speaker Sheriff David Clarke! They also got to meet Senate Candidate Mike Durant and they spoke with Alabama Supreme Court Candidate, Greg Cook, again! We think it is important for our chapter and members to be as involved as possible within Alabama Congressional District 1 because we are the only College Republicans Chapter in the district. We thank the Baldwin County Republican Party for hosting the event and having our members!

Due to the threat of severe weather arriving during our event tonight, we have decided to postpone the meeting to ensure the safety of all of our members on their travels to and from the event.
