Moberly Firefighters IAFF Local 2671 We are the firefighters that serve the City of Moberly. We are committed to making the fire department better and reaching out to the people we serve.

Firefighters coming together for a common cause:

Protecting life and property. We are also very active in the community and will strive to reach out to the people we serve, not only during emergencies but through our community outreach program. Our goal is to continuously move forward and make the Moberly Fire Department the best it can be. This union offers many advantages whether it be, life in

surance for our own brothers and sisters of the fire department or grant-writers that can help us get the best equipment to make us more efficient and save the taxpayers of Moberly as much as possible. We look forward to working with the City of Moberly and the citizens of this growing community.

Fire Chief Prohibits Opening Burning
Moberly, MO – (2-27-26) In response to changing weather conditions, the National Weather Service in St. Louis has elevated today’s fire risk to Critical Fire Danger. Low humidity, gusting winds, and dry vegetation are contributing to conditions that significantly increase the likelihood of rapid, uncontrollable fire spread. These conditions are expected to persist throughout the day.
Because of the heightened risk, Moberly Fire Chief Don Ryan has issued a prohibition on all outdoor burning within the Moberly city limits for the duration of the Red Flag Warning, which remains in effect until 6PM today.
Residents are urged to refrain from outdoor burning of any kind and to ensure that all open or smoldering flames are completely extinguished. If you observe smoke, fire, or any fire related emergency, call 911 immediately. Even small fires can escalate quickly under today’s conditions.
