Recently I shared that I was grumpy about someone cleaning out all the books in my little library, on two separate occasions in less than a week. I’m not calling it stealing, because the books are provided in the spirit of giving and sharing. I just hope whoever took them shared them generously with their family and friends.

Today I came home and found two huge donations on my porch from local supporters of my little library.

To whomever dropped them off, THANK YOU!! I am thankful and overwhelmed by your generosity and kindness!!

I promise I will get them cleaned up and stocked in the box within the next few weeks. I’m given it a break for a bit.

Stop by for a visit again soon!! Especially if you have children, of any age… I am positive you will find something.

To all who shared words of support, thank you. Thank you so much for the donations, today, and over the past 5 years.

Being a steward of a Little Free Library is very rewarding. It allows me to share my love of reading, gives me a chance to offer free and diverse books, and provide a local resource that is accessible to everyone in my community.

Throughout the last five years this little library has brought me so much joy, as well as many visitors in our community… and, maybe a few jaw dropping moments, too.

I hope to continue this service for many years to come!!

Feeling frustrated this morning.

My little library was completely cleaned out again this morning. 🤬 This happened last week, too, (they didn’t leave condems this time, though).

I restocked on Sunday night and had planned to post about back-to-school books today. 📚

Yesterday someone took half of the kids books I had added, but some kind and generous person donated a bunch of kids books - so it wasn’t a big deal - that’s what is supposed to happen - give a book, take a book. 🧡🩵

I may not stock it full for a while. Hopefully, these greedy bastards will lose the thrill of taking all the books. 😞

If you want to make a donation of gently used books you may leave them on my porch. (Kids books/chapter books are always popular!) 💙

Experienced a first this morning… when I checked in on my little library I found it completely empty, with the exception of a few condoms (new, unused) that were left behind. 😳

I’ve had people take all my books before, leave religious pamphlets, but never leave condoms!! Geesh!

PSA: I 🧡 to share books with my community; but this is not a condom dispensary.

Gently used books will soon be replenished … and copies of the U.S. Constitution.

Added some new books to my little library for young and old,including activity books for the kids!! Stop by and check out our new stock.
While visiting pick up a bookmark or sticker to acknowledge love for all… oh, and just in case you need a current version of the U.S. Constitution to check facts, free copies are also available.
