Welcome to the Jess Trobaugh for Mitchellville Mayor campaign page!

I am currently collecting signatures and will file my official paperwork mid August to be put on the ballot as a candidate for Mayor.

Let me share with you some of the experience I will bring to the Mayor position:

✔️ 18+ years of experience working in government
✔️ Extensive experience in government budgeting as well as for individual departments/projects
✔️ Grant writing
✔️ Contract negotiations
✔️ Employee management/hiring/reviews
✔️ Strong communication skills
✔️ Public speaking
✔️ Excellent knowledge of Iowa Law
✔️ Batchelors degree in Business Administration
✔️ Masters in Leadership, NACO

For those of you I have not had the opportunity to get to know yet, I look forward to meeting you in person in the next few months during the campaign process!
