Our annual meeting honors our community's Citizen of the Year, Business of the Year and Volunteer of the Year and focuses on the accomplishments of the past year while looking toward the future. The chamber addresses timely issues through business and education forums and workshops, and by meeting with local and state officials on matters such as highway construction and economic development. Our

chamber serves as the information hub of the community, making referrals to the appropriate industry, business or organization. As a welcome center, the chamber has the opportunity to introduce visitors and area newcomers to all our community has to offer. We encourage you to join the continuing efforts on behalf of the Mitchell community through your membership in
the Greater Mitchell Chamber of Commerce. We believe our directory and buyer's guide (available at the chamber office) is a valuable resource for you in contracting Greater Mitchell Chamber of Commerce members for the products and services you need.

As the Persimmon Festival draws near, just a friendly reminder that the names “Persimmon Festival” and “Mitchell Persimmon Festival” are trademarks of the Greater Mitchell Chamber of Commerce.

Use of these names for commercial purposes—including merchandise, promotional materials, or products for sale—requires prior written authorization from the Chamber.
