What if instead of kids waiting for mentors, we had mentors ready and waiting to be matched with kids?

That’s the vision behind Flip the List.

Right now, young people in the Mitchell area are waiting for caring adults who will listen, encourage, share life and consistently show up.

We want to change that. Fewer kids waiting. More mentors ready.

Over the coming weeks, we'll be sharing stories, answering questions and showing you just how simple—and meaningful—it can be to become a Big Friend.

Big Friend Little Friend Mentoring is a one-to-one mentoring model: Children and teens, aged 7-14* (Littles), are matched with a committed adult volunteer (Big), who develops and maintains trusted relationships, serving as a positive role model and source of reliable support.
