672nd Engineer Detachment - Utilities We are an Army Reserve Engineer Utilities Detachment based out of Missoula, MT. We are capable of both vertical and horizontal construction.

As Christmas approaches, we want to pause and thank each of you for the incredible commitment, sacrifice, and spirit you’ve shown throughout this year. The holidays are a special time to celebrate the bonds we share — with our families, our friends, and within the 416 TEC family.

Christmas is a season of joy, but it also brings busy schedules, travel, and celebrations. Please take care of yourselves and each other. As the year draws to a close, we took the time to commemorate the achievements of our Soldiers and celebrate their selflessness. We toasted, upholding Army tradition and the values of Engineers, in a resplendent manner that was undoubtedly astonishing to our families in attendance. We paid homage to our past, welcomed the future, and made the most of this moment. Cheers to the 672nd, cheers to our families for their unwavering support, and to our nation, which we are honored to serve.

What a bittersweet battle assembly the 672 had this weekend, but we have a lot to be thankful for!

We celebrated the promotions SSG Joseph Ackley, SSG James Eversole and SSG Charley Phalp.

We also celebrated and bid farewell to SSG Joseph Ackley, SSG James Eversole, SSG Karmen Plettenberg and SSG Kody Plettenberg as they transfer to their new units.

A BIG THANK YOU to our Renegade family members for participating in their soldier's pinning ceremonies! The 672 is incredibly appreciative of your support!

The 672nd Engineer Detachment and 659th Engineer Company has started repairs on the Urban Evasion Lab for the Fairchild Airforce Base's SERE School, which trains military personnel in urban survival and evasion techniques. The 672 EN DET & 659 EN CO's work is essential for preparing service members for operations in complex urban environments.
