📣 Stage 2 Fire Restrictions are being lifted on the Lolo National Forest on Wednesday, September 2!

🌧 Precipitation, cooler temperatures, and shorter days have helped to reduce the fire danger across the Lolo National Forest. Our Stage 2 restrictions will be lifted tonight at 12:01 am (9/02/26).
🏕 Campfires will once again be allowed in campgrounds and in dispersed camping areas, but remember that Fire Danger on the Lolo National Forest remains HIGH which means a wildfire can still start and spread quickly. Never leave a campfire unattended, and make sure it is cold to the touch before leaving your campsite.

💻 Check https://www.mtfireinfo.org/ for local fire restrictions across Montana.
