Join us for a free community screening of Screenagers: Generation AI, a documentary exploring AI’s impact on young people’s learning, relationships, and mental health.

When: Tuesday, October 6
Location: Sentinel High School, 901 South Ave. W.
Doors open: 5:15 p.m.
Film begins: 6:00 p.m.

A major new settlement could bring Montana between $89 million and $127 million to address harms associated with social media use among young people.

As part of the agreement, Meta will also add new safeguards for teens using Facebook and Instagram, including default daily time limits, overnight restrictions, reduced notifications during school hours, and stronger parental controls.

Substance-use prevention is about more than preventing access to alcohol, ni****ne, cannabis, and other drugs. It also means creating environments that support young people’s mental health, healthy development, connection, and well-being. This settlement is an important reminder that protecting youth is a shared responsibility. Not something young people and families should have to manage alone.
