🌞 Summer Parking Update: More Short-Term Options Available

In our commitment to enhancing your parking experience, we are thrilled to announce a fantastic new offering this summer! Starting July 3 and lasting until September 30, we will introduce hourly parking options in the Caras, Riverside, and West Front Lots. 🅿️

⏰ Here's the breakdown:
📅 Days: Monday through Friday
⏰ Time: 11:00 am to 5:00 pm
💳 Payment: Conveniently available via the Passport app

📱 How to Access Hourly Parking:
1️⃣ Download the Passport app from your preferred app store.
2️⃣ Look for our designated hourly parking option.
3️⃣ Follow the simple instructions to secure your spot.

DETOUR - Our Central Park garage is under repair. We have temporarily closed our Main Street entrance. All parkers will need to use Ryman Street to enter the garage. Estimated time of completion for repairs is mid-June. Thank you for your patience and remember parking in the garage is free for the first hour and $1.00/hour after that. No charge for nights and weekends.

Thanks to Missoula in Motion for this reminder to protect our clean air :)

The recent no idling signs posted around downtown Missoula are friendly reminders to turn your engine off when running into an establishment (ie. a coffee shop, bank, or post office).
Reducing unnecessary idling is a GREAT and easy way to keep Missoula’s air clean and breathable. With updated technology, newer car engines don’t benefit from being warmed up for anymore than 30 seconds. In fact, 10 seconds of idling wastes more fuel than restarting! Every 10 minutes of idling contributes one pound of carbon dioxide to the atmosphere so let’s do our part to not idle our cars when parked. We can all contribute to keeping Missoula's air clean and our community healthy!

Starting Monday, March 1, our gates will be lowered 24/7 in Park Place and Central Park

ATTENTION: Changes at the Park Place and Central Park garages coming March 1st!

What: Entry gates to the Park Place and Central garages will remain down 24/7 - just like the ROAM parking garage

Changes: Other than the entry gates being down - nothing! Paid parking hours will remain the same at Monday through Friday 8am-6pm. Free after 6pm weekdays….Free all weekend...Free on Montana State observed holidays.

Bonus: Keep your car out of the snow and ice - did you know that the first hour is FREE in the garages during paid parking hours (and $1/hr after).

Courtesy of MPC, parking Downtown will be free on Thursday, December 24! We will still be enforcing for safety and permits

Making your list? Checking it twice and realizing how much you forgot? The Missoula Parking Commission has you covered. They’re offering FREE parking Downtown on Christmas Eve.

And as a reminder, parking in Downtown Missoula is always free after 5pm weekdays and on weekends.
