There’s something a little magical about this boy. ✨

Meet Casper — an approximately 2-year-old Carolina Dog mix with a gentle heart, impeccable manners, and a love for being by your side.

Casper is sweet, well-mannered, and walks wonderfully on a leash. And despite being a BIG boy, Casper is absolutely convinced he’s a chihuahua-sized lap dog.

He has the heart of a loyal companion and the presence of a majestic golden wolf — the kind of dog who seems to have a little glow all his own.

Casper is still waiting for someone to look past the kennel and see the treasure he truly is. He deserves a family of his own, a cozy place to call home, and someone who will love him for exactly who he is.

🚔 GRANT FUNDING STRENGTHENS PUBLIC SAFETY IN MISSION

The Mission Police Department is expanding its public safety efforts through two grant-funded initiatives.

A $150,420 Youth Diversion Program grant will support the after-hours First Offender Program and diversion services for local youth. A separate $1.18 million Operation Lone Star grant will support police overtime and essential equipment, including squad cars, portable radios and SkyWatch towers.

Chief Cesar Torres explains how these resources will strengthen department operations and help officers continue protecting our community.
