Last Summer, I made the decision to run to be a DNC Member again, and it is incredible how quickly time has passed. In a short span of seven weeks, the voting process for new DNC Members will commence.

With four decades of experience as a Progressive Democrat, I've managed to make a positive impact on quite a few individuals. Of course, I've encountered some critics along the journey. However, rather than discouraging me, they have only fortified my resolve. My commitment never wavers.

I am dedicated to electing Democrats at all levels, mentoring the younger generation, and maintaining a positive outlook. My resolve remains unshakeable, regardless of any challenges I may face. My efforts have not gone unnoticed. I've received endorsements from elected officials at both the federal and state levels. Additionally, various CADEM County and Caucus Chairs have taken note of my work. I am deeply honored and grateful for this recognition.

Igor Tregub - Alameda
Mark Gonzalez - LA
Pat Johnstone - Marin

Being an officer with the CADEM since 2017 has been an experience steeped in honor and respect. The privilege of working alongside some remarkable officers, each demonstrating high levels of dedication, leadership, and integrity, has been truly enriching.

The endorsement I've received from many of these current officers isn't just a mark of acceptance, but a testament to the pride I take in my role. It's a feeling that humbles me, reminding me of the responsibility and trust that comes with my position. Each day in this role has been a learning experience, and I am grateful for it.

For six years, from 2017 to 2023, I served as the Regional Director for Regions 18, significantly contributing to our party's growth. After a region realignment, I assumed the same role for Region 21. A notable achievement was turning Orange County blue in 2018, a trend that continued in subsequent elections, not only in Orange County but also in areas like San Diego and Riverside Counties. This success is credited to the outstanding candidates who won elections and served our state.

I am honored by the endorsements from State Senators Dave Min, Josh Newman, and Catherine Blakespear, and Assembly Members Cottie Petrie Norris, Tasha Boerner, and Avelino Valencia for my DNC membership campaign. These endorsements reflect their confidence in my capability to serve our party effectively.

Having the role of a DNC Member has long been a goal of mine. This aspiration has been lingering on my bucket list, a personal checklist of significant life goals.

I am filled with immense pride as over 130 E Board members have shown their support for my candidacy for the DNC. This backing underscore the collective belief in my potential to serve effectively in this role. In addition, I am fortunate to have won the endorsement of three congressional members - Katie Porter, Mike Levin, and Robert Garcia. Their support is not taken lightly, and I am deeply honored to have such influential figures believe in my campaign. These endorsements further fuel my commitment to strive for excellence in this endeavor.

Embarking on my journey to become a DNC Member has been an absolute rollercoaster of excitement! The experiences of attending multiple Central Committee meetings and various events across different counties, have been made me so proud to be a Democrat.

Monday March 11, I attended the Riverside County Central Committee (RCDP) meeting in Moreno Valley. The RCDP has made some remarkable strides in fundraising and electing Democrats in the past year, all thanks to the unstoppable Chair Joy Silver and the passionate Central Committee. On my way home I joined in the Democratic Party of Orange County (DPOC) E Board meeting via Zoom. During the DPOC E Board, we passed a Ceasefire Resolution, all due to Eugene Fields' relentless determination.

The excitement didn't stop there! The following day, March 12, Ada, and I ventured to LA for the LACDP Central Committee meeting. The sheer magnitude of their meetings is consistently awe-inspiring, and under Chair Mark Gonzalez's dynamic leadership, LACDP passed an excellent Ceasefire Resolution.

The week kept getting better! On Wednesday, March 13, I joined the Alameda County Central Committee Hybrid meeting. Chair Igor Tregub generously offered all DNC candidates a few minutes in the limelight to address the audience. I am beyond thrilled for the chance to stand alongside such passionate and motivating DNC candidates.

Thank you, Napa County Chair G. Anthony Phillips, and Central Committee Members for allowing me to speak a few minutes about why I am running for DNC at the May E Board.
What a pleasure it was to hear from local leaders on what all the elected officials are doing to improve the quality of life in each community. St. Helena City Council Member, Anna Chouteau spoke with such enthusiasm about the local police department going to Electric vehicles.

How to become a District Delegate

Of a total of 496 delegates for California, 424 are up for grabs. On April 21, 2024, congressional district caucuses will be held in each CD by each qualified presidential candidate (277 delegates to be selected) and the delegation meeting is on May 18, 2024, where the 55 PLEOs and 92 At-Large Delegates are confirmed. To qualify to receive delegates in a CD, a presidential candidate must get 15% or more of the March 5 primary vote in that CD.
Remember, when a Democrat files with the CDP to run to be a district-level delegate (January 16, 2024 – March 21, 2024), they must file as committed to a specific candidate. Therefore, presidential campaigns will also be doing their part to mobilize and recruit registered Democrats to run and participate in caucuses on April 21, 2024.

Only registered Democrats may run or participate in the April 21, 2024, caucuses.
