Registration for the annual Tee it Up FORE Marines Golf Tournament is open for golfers, sponsors, and in-kind donors. The event is scheduled for Friday, October 16 on base at Camp Pendleton. This fun event sells out every year! Marines are on every hole and bring out displays of equipment, different weapons, vehicles, and more. Saddle up, folks, and let’s kick up some dust at our Boots, Beer, and BBQ fundraiser in support of our brave Marines and Sailors stationed at Camp Pendleton! Join us for a rootin’ tootin’ good time filled with mouthwatering BBQ, lively line dancing, a bar, and a few surprises with our mystery boxes just waiting to be cracked open.

Mark your calendars for Sunday, August 2, and gather your posse at the Norman P. Murray Community Center. Tickets are a steal at just $40, and all proceeds go toward our adopted heroes. You can rustle up your tickets at mvcommunityfoundation.org.

Mission Viejo, we are proud to share some wonderful news. 💙

The Mission Viejo Marine Adoption Committee was formally recognized at the Camp Pendleton Volunteer Appreciation Event on April 23 for their outstanding service and dedication.

Mrs. Gayle Wood, Chairman of the Mission Viejo Marine Adoption Committee, was nominated for Civilian Volunteer of the Year and received a Certificate of Appreciation from BGen Nick Brown for her exceptional commitment to supporting our adopted Marines and their families.

The Committee itself was also nominated for Volunteer Group Awards, with Mrs. Wood, Mrs. CarolAnn Carol, and Mr. Jack Kelley representing Mission Viejo at the ceremony. Their ongoing work continues to serve as a vital bridge between HQBN and our community — giving Marines and Sailors a true “home away from home.”

As you may have seen in the heartwarming photos of our recent baby basket distribution, we’ve been busy spreading joy by providing essential items to our Marines who are expecting little ones.

These baskets, filled with generous donations from caring community members like you, offer our Marines and their families a little extra support as they prepare for this beautiful new chapter in their lives. With so many babies on the way, every contribution makes a difference!

Let’s rally together and continue to show our appreciation for these heroes and their families. If you’re able to donate, whether it’s baby clothes, blankets, or essentials, it will go a long way in helping these families feel loved and supported during this exciting time.
