HUGE solar projects like Esmeralda 7 are under threat.

Esmeralda 7 is a solar project on public land in Nevada that would power 2 million homes from the sun alone but the Trump administration has denied its permit without ANY explanation.

Meanwhile - oil and gas projects are being approved recklessly by the thousand.

⚡️ Clean energy projects like this one need a movement of people who will overcome the powerful few trying to stop projects like these in their tracks.

Less than a decade ago, the U.S. had half a gigawatt of battery storage - now, after a huge increase in 2025, we’re storing 64 coal power plants worth of energy 🙌

Here are the numbers:
⚡️ In 2025, battery storage rose by 28 gigawatts
🏭 The U.S. has 401 coal power plants, producing 174gw of energy - meaning 64 coal plants worth of energy is now ready for the grid thanks to battery storage.

A new SEIA report says we could add another 21% capacity by the end of this year, too.

UPDATE! 🙌 It isn’t just Utah and Vermont taking the lead on plug-in solar across the U.S. - 23 states are now proposing similar policies!

The benefits of plug in solar are clear from reducing household bills, supporting the renewable energy sector and clean tech to lowering emissions.

Organizations like Bright Saver are working hard to gain support for the proposed bills and ensure they reach the finish line, especially in states like California, where electricity rates are the 2nd most expensive in the U.S.

Despite what you may think, the U.S. is still expecting a huge surge in clean energy growth between now and 2027.

In their recent forecast for U.S. energy production and consumption, the EIA have made it clear that:
☀️ Solar power capacity alone is forecast to increase by 49% in just 2 years
🌬️ Wind power is expected to increase by 12% too, despite political challenges
⚡️ Solar will remain the fastest growing energy source in the U.S.

It’s official. Fossil fuels are no longer leading the way in Europe.

Solar and wind power generation overtook fossil fuels for the first time EVER in 2025.

Here are some of the big numbers from Ember's European Electricity Review:

🛢️ 14 out of the 27 E.U. countries beat fossil fuels in electricity generation.
🇩🇰 Denmark topped the leaderboard, generating 71% of power with solar and wind.
☀️ In just one year, solar generation increased by 20% - reaching 369 TWh.

With growth in every E.U. country, it’s clear that policy that supports the energy transition works, providing cleaner, cheaper electricity for the whole of Europe.

✊ Clean energy is going nowhere. With thousands of jobs on the line and over 350,000 homes ready to be powered by the wind, Rhode Island just secured a big victory despite attempts to block its new wind farm project.

🧑‍⚖️ Developers in Rhode Island just won a legal challenge for a $6.2 billion wind farm to resume construction after attempts from the U.S. Interior Department in 2025 to block it ❌

This win sends a clear message that clean energy is the way forward. It’s not just good for the planet but for our communities and for workers, as the world rapidly transitions away from the dirtier alternatives.

From Norway to Indonesia, 2025 saw huge increases in EV sales, making it clear that electric is the way forward, with high hopes for 2026.

Analysis by Ember Energy found that:
🚘 Over 1/4 of new car sales across the globe are now electric
🇮🇩 Indonesia beat the US with 15% EV sales share

…and China’s EV sales share hit 50% for the first time this year, which we know is a huge tipping point for rapid progress as almost ALL car sales in Norway are now fully electric 🙌
