Ryan A. Balmer, American Legion Post 161 The nation’s largest veterans service organization.

The American Legion was chartered by Congress in 1919 as a patriotic, mutual-help, war-time veterans organization. A community-service organization which now numbers nearly 3 million members -- men and women -- in nearly 15,000 American Legion Posts worldwide. These Posts are organized into 55 Departments -- one each for the 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, France, Mexico, and the Philippines.

Happy Veterans Day to everyone from your friends at the Ryan A Balmer American Legion Post 161 ! ! ! We appreciate all vets from all branches and thank you all for your service. As Veterans, we understand what it takes and what sacrifices have been made. To the soldiers that never came home, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Coming to THE Ryan A Balmer American Legion Post 161 on Friday November 29th, brought to you by Mr. Jamie Torma, Karaoke at the Post from 8:00pm till Midnight, or maybe longer if we have a big group and everyone is having fun. Bring your spouse, bring your family members, bring your friends and neighbors, let's kick off the Christmas season with a stress free night of fun and help support a great cause. Hope to see a huge group there ! ! ! FYI fans, this is a CASH ONLY facility ! ! !

Alrighty friends! It's that time again. Doug's Polish Dinner!!! July 28th! Last ticket sales are July 23rd.
Tickets are presale only! $17.00 each and will be from 1pm to 3pm. If you need a to go order, to go's will be available for pick up at 2pm. Dinner includes polish sausage, polish chicken, green beans, mashed potatoes, sweet and sour cabbage and a roll. So, give us a call at 574-360-3697, or get with one of our volunteers, Jim Dunn, Tara Crews or Steve Banke for tickets.
