The Oscoda County Courthouse will be open today, Monday, March 16, 2026, but all court hearings are canceled and will be rescheduled to another date. If you have a court hearing today you can call for your new hearing date and time or wait, and notice will be mailed to you. Thank you.

Due to the weather and road conditions the Oscoda County Courthouse will be closing early today March 13, 2026 at 10:00am. Stay safe.

In honor of local firefighter and first responder Corey Newton, the Oscoda County Courthouse will be closed to the public on July 16, 2025 from 1:30pm until 4:30pm, to allow all staff to attend the funeral service to be held at Tri-Point Church of God, on Wednesday, July 16 at 2:00pm.

Thank you for your understanding and support.

The court will have procedures in place to address any/all emergency matters that may arise during this closure.
