A broad coalition of partners is launching North Dakotaโ€™s first comprehensive study of local foodโ€™s economic impact โ€” and your input is key.

The study aims to better understand the role of local food across production, processing and sales, helping guide future investment and support for rural communities and businesses.
If youโ€™re involved in growing, raising or producing food sold in North Dakota, consider participating.

The survey is open through May 15: farrms.org/economicimpactstudy

โญ In an effort to learn more about building youth capacity within non-profits, SBPC AmeriCorps State Leader Trey Burk and other North Dakota representatives attended America's Service Commissions National Service Training event in Dallas, Texas last week.
๐Ÿ’ก These sessions included tools and resources for engaging youth in volunteer opportunities to help strengthen their communities.
"One of the best things you can do as a young person is to start volunteer work early. Not only will it build up your community, but it will also develop your social skills and work ethic and prepare you for the future." -Trey Burk
