Even if you aren't interested in the Primary, PLEASE come out and vote in the RSU Election. LOCAL ELECTIONS ARE IMPORTANT!

Some notes...
> Ballots issued will be determined by party enrollment/ eligibility.
> Voters will be given all ballots they are eligible for, even if that means you cast a blank ballot.
> The ballots are double sided so please check both sides.
> The Primary ballot does involve Ranked Choice Voting. You DO NOT have to rank all the candidates to complete your ballot if you don't want to.
> You can register to vote on Election Day. You cannot change parties on election day to become Primary eligible.
> Absentee ballots must be back to our office by 8 PM on election night to be counted.
> Political activities/ advertising, including clothing, is prohibited within 250 ft of the building.

Today, Thurs. 6/4, at 6 pm is the absentee request cut off without special circumstances!
Please consider voting, even if you are not interested in the State Primary, because there is a ballot for the RSU 16 Budget and SRRF. Please visit rus16.org for more info.

If you would like to vote in person, the polls will be open here at the Town Office on Tues. 6/9 from 8am to 8 pm. The Office will be open for regular business from 8 am - 4 pm.

Registered Maine voters may use this free service to request an absentee ballot for the June 09, 2026 State Primary. Ballots must be received no later than 8:00 p.m. Eastern Time on Election Day.

The last day to make your request without special circumstances is Thursday, June 4th by 6 pm.

You have a few options to make your request!
> You can make your request online at the link below.

> You can make your request in person during business hours. We do have booths set up if you would like to vote your ballot(s) right at the office.
> You can print and mail a paper request (This may not be the best option due to the time left before the election)

2027 ATV Registrations Update (5/22/2026)
We have a small supply (1 booklet of 20) of ATV stickers to process new registrations here in the Office. According to IF&W, we should receive the rest of our shipment in 30 days.

Customers wishing to renew their machines are currently required to do so through our online services, accessible at: https://apps1.web.maine.gov/online/atv_snow/index.htm

Customers who need to register a new machine, may either wait until our office receives the 2027 stickers or contact IF&W via email at [email protected] providing the following information:

> Legal name
> Date of birth
> Address
> Phone number
> Copy of their drivers license for proof of residency
> Copy of the bill of sale with the year, make, model, color, serial/VIN, cost of purchase and proof of any sales tax paid.
If sales tax is to be paid at time of purchase, the customer will need to complete a Use Tax Certificate. If the customer requires help with this part, someone in the Licensing Division will assist. For convenience, you can access the Use Tax Certificate by using the link below.

IF&W complete each registration in the order in which they are received. A representative will contact the customer to finalize the payment which can be made via debit or credit card. Upon competition of the transaction, IF&W will send the customer a registration form, allowing them to recreate with their machine immediately. The permanent sticker will be mailed to the customer once we have received the final shipment.
