Here are some of our “ I Read 50 Books This Summer” children with their certificates of completion and goody bags! It is so exciting to see children grow a little each year in their love of reading!

When I host a Summer Reading Competition, I break it up into three age categories. Our winners this summer:
Ezekiel Borchardt (75 Books: 3,650 pages)

Samuel Borchardt (60 Books: 7,129 pages)

Nathan Borchardt ( 48 Books: 8,138 pages)

The Borchardt boys are the sons of Chris and Jennifer Borchardt of Minor Hill. It has been such a pleasure to watch them grow, not only in their love of reading, but into good human beings, as well. Y’all help me congratulate them in their efforts!

Our Escape the Library event is cancelled. We, unfortunately, didn’t have any sign ups. I will go back to the drawing board and continue to strive to find relevant events for your teens!

Can all the teen mamas ask their children, “What would be an event you would like to see at the library?” and leave a comment of their response!

Don’t forget that tomorrow is our “ I Read 50 Books this Summer” prize retrieval! I will be at the library at 10:30 am! Please let me know if you can’t make it and I will put your child’s prize up until you can make it in!

Mark your calendars for our first ever “ Coffee and Canvas” night at the library! Starting at 6 pm, we will begin the class after everyone has settled in with their provided refreshments! $10 per person! Think Mom’s Night Out 🤩
