Help Protect Our Sewer System

We’re asking residents to help protect our sewer system by being mindful of what gets flushed down the toilet.

Even when the package says “flushable,” wipes do not break down like toilet paper and can cause serious problems in our sewer system.

Wipes in the system can lead to:
• Pump failures
• Sewer backups
• Additional staff overtime
• Costly equipment repairs and replacement
• Health and safety concerns
• Extremely high rate increases

These problems don’t just affect the sewer system they can become costly for the entire community.

Please help us protect our sewer system by keeping wipes and other non-flushable items out of the toilet.

The Village of Minong Office will be closed on Friday, September 4th, and Monday, September 7th, in observance of Labor Day.

A secure drop box is available at the front door for payments and paperwork while the office is closed.

We’ll see you Tuesday! ❤️🤍💙

Our service provider is currently experiencing an outage, which means the Village Office phones and internet are temporarily down.

Our drop box located outside the Village Office is still available for any payments or correspondence that need to be dropped off.
