Founded in 1960, Avivo provides chemical and mental health services, housing support, career education, and employment services. We specialize in helping individuals and families who face personal or systemic barriers – poverty, homelessness, joblessness, chemical

Congratulations to these Medical Office Support students, who shortly before graduation (more on that to come!) hosted a reverse career fair - meaning that *they* tabled with resumes, conversation, and giveaways like candy or swag, while potential employers visited their tables to learn more. They were amazing, and employers (and staff) were impressed!

Construction on Avivo Village Central Minnesota continues to advance and is making quick progress! The latest updates include living units now having walls, and painting has begun as well. Jim and Susan, long-time Avivo supporters and volunteers, recently donated 11 beautiful quilts made by the TOGS quilting group. These amazing quilters had a show in April with proceeds supporting Avivo. They're donating these extra quilts to be used by shelter guests at Avivo Village! Thank you to these amazing quilt artists for the love and skill they put into each of these quilts!

Thanks to Andersen Middle School for supporting participants in Avivo's programs for their community project day! Our staff worked alongside 2 great student leaders, John and Amari, who led two class periods. Students packed both snack and hygiene kits to support people in Avivo's programs. A big thank you to the staff and students for their commitment to service and Avivo!

Belated, but earlier this month participants from Avivo's Minnesota Family Resiliency Partnership came together for their annual Mother's Day event. Each year this event is designed to celebrate participant success and to give these hard working parents a chance for connection, relaxation, and recharging. Thank you to all the donors who made this event a special experience!
