Finally, the big reveal for the mystery cookie tin that will be at the Stonewall DFL booth at the DFL state convention this weekend.

Quite often at various Pride and other community festivals, we accumulate things like beads and chalk and bubbles, etc. This tin is full of fun freebies for children who were dragged to the convention by parents.

The state DFL convention approaches in less than a week and here at Stonewall DFL we are getting ready

Just as in the past years, we will be hosting the bucket of buttons fundraiser at our table. We have hundreds of political buttons and such. Last night we pulled all the buttons together and did a full resort of all the buttons and get them into the right bins and the first picture below is what we are bringing to Rochester this coming weekend. There are several hundred buttons in our ranging from “John Kennedy for President” to the present. and they represent all levels of elected office from federal down to school board down to Board of water and soil conservation.

The fine folks at the “”Bucket of buttons project offers this same opportunity for fundraising to all DFL units and entities. In fact, they will have some items that would be good for silent auction fundraiser. Including a full copy the St. Paul Pioneer Press from November 23rd & 24th, 1963, covering the assassination of President Kennedy. The second picture is the full, back page ad from Dayton’s announcing that they would be closed for the weekend to honor the President.

And finally we have something new in that Blue tin but I am going make y’all guess. Could be cookies, or sewing supplies or maybe the Epstein Files.

We will have pre-order available at the State Convention next week in Rochester. If you sign up to become a member of Stonewall or renew your membership, you will get a hat! Already renewed for the year? Simply make a donation and fill out the form.

Not going to be at State? Have no fear: the hats will also be available at Twin Cities Pride, online on the DFL website, and at the official DFL booth at the STATE FAIR.

All proceeds will go to support Stonewall DFL and Stonewall DFL endorsed candidates in races across Minnesota.

Stonewall DFL stands with our 2SLGBTQIA+ siblings in Michigan in opposing transphobia in our party everywhere. Transphobia cannot be allowed to take root in Minnesota, Michigan, or anywhere in the Democratic Party. Stonewall DFL will actively oppose all attempts to normalize transphobia in the party, no matter where it happens.
