After much consideration we have sold our entire Halloween collection and display.
Thats the bad news.

We sold it to a young man in the neighborhood who plans on setting everything up even better in 2025!

A popular haunted house in Minneapolis that draws hundreds of people each year won't happen this year.

Update on 2023.
I am sorry to inform everyone that we will not be setting up our Halloween walk through for 2023.
Several things have led to this decision this year.
1- We spend over $2000 a year just to set it up, take it down, and store it. This does not include buying anything new.
2- The crew we have contracted for the last 5-10 years to set it up is busy this year and not able to set it up.
3- The owner received several passive notices from a neighbor, who talked to a neighbor, that heard from a neighbor where they were complaining about the traffic it caused one night a year for 4 hours or so. No one ever addressed this directly with us of course because this is Minnesota.

So the event we have spent over 20 years creating and putting on for over 2500 guests a year for free will not be happening this year and we are sorry for that.
Maybe it will return but we are getting older and the time commitment and costs are outweighing our ability and desire.

Yes the haunted house on Lowry will be open tonight.
Answers to the most popular questions.

1- What time are you open?
We are open from 6 till sometime around 10:00.

2- How much does it cost?
Nothing. We do have a donation chest for donations and they are very appreciated.

3- How long does it take to set up?
About a week depending on the weather.

4- How much have you spent?
A lot. It costs over $3000 a year just to put it up and store everything.

5- Why do you do this?
Brain damage most likely. It started small and just kept getting bigger.

6- Will you do this again next year?
Probably but it gets harder every year to replace things and make it all work. Probably need some sponsorship soon.

7- What is your favorite holiday?
Christmas

8- How many people come through?
Anywhere from 2000 to 2700 depending on the weather and day of the week Halloween is on.

9- Why aren't you open more days?
We are a family with pets and children. Having our yard and home open is stressful on the animals and the children would enjoy it too much.

10- What will you do next?
We have lots of ideas but it comes down to time and money. As we get older time becomes more precious.
