Could a Property Tax Freeze Benefit Businesses and Residents of the Four Neighborhoods? With any public construction, a tax levy usually follows. We’re asking our local representatives to work with us to reduce the impact of the upcoming construction. On June 8th, construction is slated to begin at 38th and Chicago - George Floyd Square. In the Central neighborhood, both Portland and Park Avenues (plus 35th and 36th streets) are also seeing current or upcoming construction. What do you need during construction? Let's talk about it. Join us on Wednesday, May 13th from 6-8pm at 3400 Park Avenue South.
