MPD Bike Patrol

MPD Bike Patrol MPD Bike Patrol is a division of the Minneapolis Police Department created to increase community-oriented policing.

MPD Bike Patrol officers are internationally accredited through the International Police Mountain Bike Association (IPMBA). Our officers patrol the city of Minneapolis on bicycles throughout the year and help create a safe environment for community events and conventions. We just finished teaching a week long Bike Certification Class that consisted of Minneapolis Police, Ramsey County Deputies, Spring Lake Park Police Officers and a VA Police Officer. Everyone did a great job and rode a lot!!!
