April 19th Lao New Year celebration. We provided information about dementia and our agency’s programs as well. It turned out really well. During the Lao new year celebration, the activities included cultural show showcasing traditional clothing from different regions of Laos.

On November 17th, we held our annual Volunteer Recognition Ceremony to give thanks back to the Lao community and recognize all of their efforts. It was a wonderful celebration to be held with all. We truly appreciate each volunteer and participant in our community. Thank you, everyone!

Today, we celebrated Mother’s Day and everyone had a great time. There were new participants that joined us and it was nice to see everyone feeling so happy! Happy Mother’s Day to everyone.

Today we had the pleasure to speak and represent Lao Advancement at the Minnesota Board on Aging meeting. As a minority, we are stronger as a unity and today we were able to show a piece of our community and what’s it all about! Thank you for allowing us to voice our thoughts and to our seniors who were able to make an attendance and support!
