We’re a Director and Clinical Supervisor for our Wraparound Program. This role will lead and oversee FamilyWise’s internationally credentialed MiiWrap program. MiiWrap is a model that supports children, youth and young adults who struggle with significant mental health challenges which make them at risk for out of home placement.

May is Mental Health Awareness Month and an important time to support the mental wellbeing of parents. According to a 2024 U.S. Surgeon General Report, 48% of parents report feeling completely overwhelmed by stress most days. Helping parents cope with stress and take care of their mental health and wellbeing is an important protective factor for families and communities. Last month, FamilyWise staff presented to more than 60 people at the 2026 TARSS Symposium in Deerwood, Minnesota, an annual event hosted by the Center for Early Education and Development at the University of Minnesota. Thanks to the early childhood professionals from all over the state who joined us!

FamilyWise would like to wish a Happy Mother's Day to all the moms and mother figures in our lives! The role of mom comes with so much responsibility and privilege. It can feel heavy with guilt (i.e. not doing enough) or self-doubt (i.e. not being able to support my child). To the superhero moms and those to step into the mom role like naturals we say: you are enough, and you deserve to be celebrated!

Last month, we hosted our annual Celebration of Family Wellbeing in honor of Child Abuse Prevention Month and our 50th Anniversary.
