During National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week, we recognize the voices behind the call, the calm in the chaos.

Every day, 911 dispatchers answer in moments of fear, uncertainty, and crisis. They don’t see the scene, but they feel the weight of it. They guide, they reassure, and they save lives.

Our family knows how critical those first moments are. The voice on the other end matters more than words can capture.

To every dispatcher across Minnesota, thank you for your steadiness, your compassion, and your service. You are the first first responders, and we are deeply grateful.

Yesterday, our Minnesota Wills for Heroes program reached another milestone.
20,000 estate plans drafted/Responders served!
(City of Rosemount - Government Firefighter, Reed, was number 20,000).
Thank you to our village of dedicated volunteers make everything we have done possible.
(Just for fun, I have included a picture of Andrea, Kip, and I from our very first Wills for Heroes event on June 25, 2007 at the Lino Lakes Police Department).

Last night, our Minnesota Wills for Heroes were at the Champlin Police Department, and we had the privilege of preparing basic Wills, Powers of Attorney, and Health Care Directives for the Champlin Police Department - Minnesota Police Officers, Anoka-Champlin Fire Department Firefighters, a Minneapolis Police Department Police Officers two Maple Lake Fire Department Firefighters, a Minnesota State Patrol Officer, a Hennepin County Sheriff's Office Deputy, and their spouses, and thank them for what they do every day.

Tonight, our Minnesota Wills for Heroes Heroes volunteers were at the Sauk Rapids Police Department, and we had the privilege of preparing basic Wills, Powers of Attorney, and Health Care Directives for their police officers and their spouses, and thank them for what they do every day.

Last night our Minnesota Wills for Heroes volunteers were at the MSP Airport Fire Station 1, and we had the privilege of preparing basic Wills, Powers of Attorney, and Health Care Directives for the Airport Emergency Communications, Police, and Firefighters, and their spouses, and thank them for what they do every day.
