Voice of East African Woman, Is a 501c3 non-profit organization for family healing and support services, We provide emergency shelter to help end homelessness and-Violence against women and children. Voice of East African Women Was Founded because of an urgent need for East African and Muslim women to have a place where they can be safe, receive the services and healing that they need, as well as

connect with other women to support each other. We are a 501©(3) non-profit organization founded in 2012 by Farhio khalif to offer shelter, support, advocacy, prevention and education services to survivors of violence as well as to help create a community to overcome abuse and succeed in their renewed lives.

Inaa Lillahi Wa Inaa Illah Raajucuun.

The death of Hon. Khadija Mohamed Diriye, Minister of Women and Human Rights Development in Somalia. It is with our deepest condolences to her family and loved ones, She was a strong advocate for the human rights of women and children in Somalia. She was a voice for women and children who had no voice against domestic violence, FGM, gender equality, and children's rights. She had advanced bills such as the FGM bill, the sexual offenses bill, children's rights bill, and disability Bill. She has visited Minnesota to partner with us on Women, children, and youth Issues advocating for us to continue our work here and partnering and training women and youth in Somalia..

Ho. Khadija's Mohamed Dirie, voice, and absence will be greatly missed. May Allah/God bless her soul. Allaha Unaxariisto. Amin.
