On 16 July 2025, our Annual Training came to a close with a vibrant evening in Steilacoom, Washington. The 204th Army Band’s Rock Band took the stage alongside our Brass Band, bringing high energy and a mix of music that had the audience moving from the very first note.

What stood out most was the connection between the band and the community—families gathered on the lawn, kids dancing up front, and a crowd that cheered long after the last song. It was more than just a performance; it was a celebration of music, community, and the joy of coming together.

Today’s video showcases our Rock Band from that memorable night—we hope you enjoy the energy as much as we did performing it!

Wrapping up our AT recap posts, day 12 was our MWR (Morale, Welfare, and Recreation) day—sometimes jokingly called “mandatory fun.” It gave us the chance to step away from our busy mission schedule and come together as a unit. We took time to recognize several Soldiers for their hard work and contributions throughout AT, reflecting on everything accomplished over the two weeks. The day was also made special by celebrating the retirement of Staff Sgt. Kovacik, honoring his service and dedication to the Army and to Army music.

Day 13 brought us to Olympia, WA, for our final mission: the Capital Lakefair Parade. With the state capitol as the backdrop, we marched through the city streets, representing the 204th Army Band and the U.S. Army one last time before heading home.
