Statewide Pedestrian Bridge Planning Study
Do you use the Hwy. 121/Lyndale Avenue pedestrian bridge?
If so, MnDOT wants to hear from you!
You’re invited to participate in an upcoming focus group!
Refreshments will be provided and participants will receive a stipend for their time! Use the link below to sign up!!

Many pedestrian bridges are inaccessible and/or are deteriorating.
These bridges have approaches with stairs, steep ramps, and other features that make it difficult for people to cross. MnDOT is seeking a better understanding of the pedestrian bridge system and developing a framework for construction projects that will bring bridges up to current standards and address their needs.
The Statewide Pedestrian Bridge Planning Study project team is interested in speaking with community members that regularly use MnDOT pedestrian bridges to better understand how these bridges are used and how changes in design and/or location may impact their use. Interested community members are invited to scan the
QR code or visit the web link below to participate in a focus group.
If you’d like to participate, please visit the following link and fill out a quick interest form bit.ly/3Q3Jx0s

Everyone has constitutional protections — regardless of immigration status.

Before opening your door to ICE, know your rights, as recommended by the Immigrant Law Center. Remember to assert them calmly and safely. Mayor calls for ICE to leave city, City stresses any demonstrations be peaceful
The City of Minneapolis is aware of a shooting involving a federal agent at 34th Street and Portland Avenue. We are working to confirm additional information, but what we know is that the presence of federal immigration enforcement agents is causing chaos in our city and making our community less safe.
Mayor Frey is demanding ICE leave the city and state immediately. We stand by our immigrant and refugee communities – know that you have our full support.
Peaceful demonstrations
We acknowledge the public's constitutional right to free expression. We urge our residents and visitors to show the world a unified, welcoming Minneapolis by demonstrating peacefully and by using your voice.
If you decide to protest or demonstrate, remember to keep it peaceful and lawful. It is crucial to ensure everyone's safety while giving communities a voice.
• Protesters have the right to peacefully demonstrate by standing on sidewalks, carrying signs, chanting, and utilizing public spaces.
• Protesters are not allowed to be on freeways, block streets, throw objects, cause violence, participate in criminal acts, enter on private property (including commercial spaces) without the owner’s permission, or use fireworks or weapons.
• Unlawful activity will not be tolerated.
• Peaceful and lawful gathering tips
We urge the public to remain calm and check City of Minneapolis social media accounts for up-to-date information about how the City is preparing for a potential military or federal deployment by visiting our website.
