Dr Melinda Pettigrew, Dean of the U of M's School of Public Health, told us about the many consequences of the US withdrawal from WHO. There have been huge staff cuts to USAID and PEPFAR which will mean millions of additional deaths worldwide and an erosion of trust in the US. We also inducted Suzanne Lundeen Abrams as our newest member!

Today, Rick Lundin told us about the perspective of an architect and the prominent buildings he has helped design and how to appreciate the intent of the architect when we look at buildings in our city. Rick even contributed to the Weisman Art Museum, a famous unique structure here in Minneapolis. He gave us notes on this and many other structures we see every day, from theaters to mausoleums.
