Lyndale Neighborhood Association (LNA) LNA's vision is to create a safe, vibrant, and sustainable community for all.

LNA is the officially recognized neighborhood organization for the Lyndale Neighborhood. The Lyndale Neighborhood's borders are Lake Street on the North, I-35W on the East, Lyndale Avenue on the West, and 36th Street on the South. While this may seem like a small area, the neighborhood has over 8,000 people living it and between 250 to 300 businesses.

Join LNA with guest presenters from Monarch Joint Venture to learn about monarch butterflies in Minnesota—their life cycles, habitats, and migration patterns! This will be a multi-lingual (English, Spanish, and Somali accessible) event that is free to participate in and fun for the whole family.

Such a fun day on the 3300 block of Lyndale! BIG bubbles, live music with Twin Town, faux-tography with Perennial Cycle, grown men running tiny finger skateboards with Cal Surf, sort the waste game and energy efficiency info thanks to our partners at Hennepin Environment and City of Minneapolis Government, speed friending conversations, recipe books from our students and cultural food matching with our English as a second language program, and even a chance to take a photo of the street-photographer himself, Steve Ozone! Updated Map! South Uptown Mutual Aid is hosting a multi-neighborhood Swap & Sale on Saturday, June 6th from 8:30am-5pm across the Greater Uptown area. Neighbors will be setting up in their alleys or front yards, selling, swapping and/or giving things away.

⏰ The South Nicollet Action Center (SNAC) has a business tenant opening starting in August 2026 (though it could be as soon as July if needed). We are located at 3537 Nicollet Avenue Minneapolis, MN 55408.

It is a co-working space that multiple nonprofits call home including the Lyndale Neighborhood Association, The League of Women Voters, Fortune Relief and Youth Empowerment Organization, and the Somali American Women's Action Center.
